Your Habits Are Limiting Your Happiness

One day you’ll come to the realization that a lot, if not all, of the things you do are habitual and those habitual actions are the major cause of all the upset in your life.

Let me explain… we are so used to doing things a certain way even though we have felt the following emotions while, and after, doing them: anger, frustration, annoyance, and sadness.

Example? Rushing to get the kids ready in the morning… getting meals together at family gatherings… driving in traffic… children asking  questions while you’re having anxiety… the list goes on…

First, let me say, the reason for feeling any of the above emotions is a call for you to change. The goal is always love and happiness, if you’re not feeling love and happiness, something is off.

So… change the way you do things. For example, wake the kids up a bit earlier or pack their lunches the night before, cater your family meals and stop stressing yourself out, listen to an Audible book while in traffic, play games with your kids in the car – the only thing they really want is to spend time with you, etc.

Our natural state is joy, that’s why it feels so good to laugh and be happy. There’s an unlimited amount of joy available to everyone all the time… you just might have to change your habitual behavior to get to it.
